1 - Character Preparation
Make sure your character is something you can work with. Try to find something within your charcter that makes it easy for you to write. If you can't understand your character then other writers and the "audience" will struggle to.
2 - Have a realistic character
A 6' 10" giant that can also go like a cruiser is not realistic, yes an Efed is story telling and role playing but there are limits to reality.
3 - Have a decent move set
Make sure you have a good a varied move set that reflect your character well so that both yourself and others can write matches with ease. Also describe any unique moves or anything your character does not do.

Folks
Over the weekend myself, Fill and Darkstar has discussed the changes we need to make to TWOstars, most importantly the changes we feel need to be made to profiles.
Fill is currently in the process of adding more categories to the profile, these will be explained in due course. First however I will address each category in the profile and point out any changes
Wrestler's Name
Easiest of the lot. The name you want your guy / girl to be known as in general and in the bookings.
Sort Name
"Sort name" is used to place you in the Alphabetical listing - only enter it if your "sort name" is different to your normal name - i.e. "The Crippler" would enter "Crippler" in this entry
Alias(es)
An exceedingly important part of writing matches or promo's is variety. A good selection of these will help your match read better. It gets rid of repetitive He's or Him's or surnames every sentence
Height
This should not change, self explanatory
Weight
Whilst we accept that this can fluctuate, we do not expect this figure to rise or fall by more than 5% of your character's original weight at debut.
If weight changes then it needs to be explained, this is easier enough to achieve through promo's or videos
If you change weight (more specifically increase) by a large amount in a short amount of time it will be assumed that your character is either out of shape, carrying a gut or stupidly roided unless explained
Entrance Music
Self Explanatory but please don't change it every three months. It's like turning every season, keeping changing and the "fans" won't care or won't react
Hometown
Useful for pro crowds when at home
Wrestling Style
These are the base styles for your character. This does not include signature or finishing moves as they are artistic license.
Ideally we are looking for no more than three or four for character. A lot of the styles are similar so there is no need to have three near identical styles. The reason for the profile is to help other people write for your character, too many styles just creates confusion as to "what your character is really about"
Profile
A nice and simple outline of your character. Not too long, anything over a couple of paragraphs should be put into the Trivia rather than Profile
Entrance(s)
The basic entrance for your character. This gives other people something to work with. You can of course add to this on occasion.
The multiple entrances is aimed at stars who are members of tag teams and or factions.
Normal Moves
Standard moves your character would hit in the course of a match. Remember to keep the basics in here, if your character doesn't punch, state this.
The majority of your character's moves should be listed in this section. There is no need to use every move in the course of a match so this list can be long as it helps your co-writer.
Signature Move(s)
These are moves your character will hit and the crowd will react to and realise they are specific to you. For example the Guerrero Three Amigos, the Cena Five Knuckle shuffle, Triple H's running knee, spinebuster, knee smash etc
We expect there to be no more than half a dozen signature moves per character. If you have more then the crowd simply won't react or will react to them as standard moves. The other idea behind them is as part of a build to a finisher. If you have too many signature moves then you have an opponent jobbing to you for ten minutes before getting a finisher.
Signature moves should also not be another person's finisher. If you wish to keep more moves then they should be downgraded to normal moves.
Finishing Move(s)
Ideally we are looking for three, at a push four finishing moves. Thinking of realism here and you'll see no stars with more than two credible finishers.
Also, powerful / brawling characters should not be able to execute hugely technical submission moves.
Again, too many finishers indicates they need to be downgraded to signature moves.
Titles Held
TWOstars titles & ERE titles. Any other titles should be included within Trivia
Trivia
Key facts on your character and also the general story behind your character
Affiliation
Faction name - only used if you are a member of a faction
Alignment
Self explanatory. Please do not turn your character without prior discussion with the booking team. Too many turns will kill your character's heat as the "fans" stop caring
With those changes made we've also brought on new categories for everyone to utilise
NEW CATEGORIES
Signature Spots
This list should not include more than a couple of spots. For example the Benjamin ladder run or the Edge & Christian crescendo
Taunts
The Cactus Jack “Bang Bang”, the Cena “bring it” are examples. If your character has a taunt that your co-writer can use then include it in your profile
Favourite Weapon
Self explanatory
Debut
Added piece of trivia
Added to affiliations;
Known to dislike
Not people feuded with but generally dislike (in Kayfabe)
Has teamed with
Former alliances
Has feuded with
Memorable feuds from the past within TWOstars or ERE
Previous Gimmicks
Just to give people more background on your character and their various guises
So that's the changes we have made to the profiles, I’ll be online tomorrow evening and later today to answer any questions. Mr Fill is currently making the additions to the profile site and we’d like everyone to make changes to their profile in the next couple of weeks.
Many Thanks
Chris

Take note of the level of detail invovled. You need to make sure that your profile fills out most of the information thats required. If you're using the character on other feds don't bother to put down your previous partners, feuds etc as their not really going to matter. you start with a fresh slate with us, you've got to prove your title worthy! Although Christof's profile for Holt contains more info than a new memeber would it's certainly an excellent example of the level of detail required to pass this first task...
Please also be aware of how your character\'s profile is to be used by other people. It isn;t just you who has to use it. Make sure that it is accesable to the newest member of the roster as much as the more established players. If you have a lot of knowlege about for instance Mexican Lucha then remember that not everyoine who reads your profile will have the same understanding. Your profile must be able to be used by these people as well.....
Also include what your character looks like!! even if its just to say the look exactly like such and such or be more descriptive. It's easier for people to get into your character with that included...
Your Basic Moveset is just that, basic. A 450 flip is not a basic move, this list os for the types of striking your character does, the basic moves he poulls of to fill out his moveste. You actually shape a lot of your charatcer from here. If you don;t say your character uses clotheslines, armbars and sleepers holds then you can't expect other people to write that he does. If your heavy technical and don't include lots of technical rest holds then other people won't write them. If your guy is a martial artist but all you put is punches and kicks then don;t expect anything more than that. As an example you basic moveset should be at least 3 times longer than you signature moves.
