Wrestler's Name: Bruce Hoffman Alias: “The Wrestling Messiah” Date of Birth: May 9th, 1986 Height: 6’2 Weight: 224 lbs. Entrance Music: “Come With Me” by P. Diddy feat. Jimmy Page Hometown: Portland, ME. Wrestling Style: Technical / Submission / Ground Based - It should be noted that while he does have heel-ish tendencies, Hoffman will never cheat or intentionally get himself disqualified; he believes doing so shows a lack of honor and confidence in one’s own abilities.Profile: Coming from a family of independent wrestlers, Bruce Hoffman has been a student and lover of the sport since he was a child. He always had held a belief system that he was destined for greatness, but would often not openly brag. This, however, wasn’t because he was a pampered brat: He was a success through his own talent and drive. He and everyone knew it, so there was no sense in him talking about something that he felt was obvious. Throughout middle and high school, Bruce was always involved with the wrestling teams, as to grant himself an ideal athletic background, going on to achieve a great amount of success. Even though he’s just beginning to step into the wrestling world, he upholds a sense of honor instilled in him with his family’s careers: Never cheat, never take shortcuts, and never mock the sport of wrestling……..A code of honor he feels that no one else truly follows, and he intends to teach his opponents about the art of wrestling. Before deciding to go pro, he had wrestled throughout the New England indy circuit. Entrance:“Come With Me” by P. Diddy begins to blare through the speakers as the majority of the crowd boos. After several moments, “The Wrestling Messiah” Bruce Hoffman steps out from the entranceway and looks around with a confidant smirk on his face. He raises his arm to incite a reaction from the fans in attendance and slowly walks down the ramp.TONY CHIMEL: “Introducing first/And the opponent/etc., hailing form Portland, Maine….Standing at 6’2 and weighing approximately 224 pounds; he is “The Wrestling Messiah”, BRUCE HHOOFFFMMAANN!!” Continuing down the ramp, Hoffman is seen cracking his knuckles and loosening his wrists as he then proceeds to walk up the steel stairs. Upon entering the ring through the ropes, the “Wrestling Messiah” calmly paces back and forth across the ring as he awaits his opponent.Moveset:GRAPPLE- Arm Drag - Back Suplex - Belly-To-Belly Suplex - Box Cutter Armbreaker - Double-Arm Suplex; sometimes transitioned into a pin - Fireman's Carry - Fireman's Gutbuster - Headlock Takedown - Neckbreaker - Pendulum Backbreaker - Russian Leg Sweep - Scoop Slam - Shin Breaker - Shoulder Breaker - T-Bone Suplex; sometimes from the top rope / transitioned into a pin - Vertical Suplex; sometimes from the top rope STRIKE- Chop Block - Crossface Punches - Dropkick - European Uppercut - Forearm Strikes - Mounted Elbow Strikes - Running Lariat - Shoulder Block SUBMISSION- Abdominal Stretch - Body Scissors - Boston Crab - Bow And Arrow - Bridging Hammerlock - Chinlock - Crossface Chickenwing; sometimes in conjunction w/ Body Scissors - Fujiwara Armbar - Headlock - Hammerlock; sometimes in conjunction w/ Body Scissors - Indian Deathlock - Sleeper Hold - Surfboard Stretch AERIAL- Diving Bulldog - Diving Elbow - Diving Lariat - Diving Shoulder Block - Missile Dropkick ETC.- Backslide Pin - Jackknife Pin - Oklahoma Roll - Prawn Hold - School Boy - Sunset Flip - Three-Quarter Nelson Signature Move(s):- Moonsault - Spinebuster - Brainbuster Finishing Move(s):- Bridging German Suplex - Death's Embrace (Cobra Clutch-style Triangle Hold) Taunts:- Will place his foot on a downed opponent and raise his arm after hitting a momentum-shifting move. - Sarcastically takes a bow to the crowd after hitting a signature move he knows the opponent won’t recover from (as a set-up for a finisher)/after winning the match. I dont see any issues with the profile. Could be interesting to see you and Jason Bell feud...
Obviously you've efedded before, can I ask have you been in angle feds or RPs? Or both?

Oh. Also if he 'never cheats' how will you get him over as a heel in ring? I knwo its very possible, I just want to know that you do as well.

Actually, I've been primarily involved with RP-based threads; I even run one and help teach struggling RPers.
And, for the "never cheat" thing, he can still easily be a heel. It doesn't stop him from berating faces for making a mockery out of wrestling, ridiculing the fans for cheering them on, and seeing himself as superior.

And to add to my point, he can also be more aggressive to less skilled/weaker opponents.

I think it's pretty good, yeah. Like a lot of the 'old school moves' that you've got - it's a nice touch to the general gimmick. One sad thing, although just by the nature of the gimmick, I don't get a huge feel for the character (but we've got time to deal with that in the other tasks so no huge problem). Tiny details: I would prefer if you didn't use the Sharpshooter - it's the go-to submission of one of our bigger heels and if we can avoid doubling up I'd be really grateful. For the same reason, I'd rather the spear was taken out of the signature moves. Please replace the submission with another submission and whatever you like with the impact move . EDIT: One last thing, actually, please don't use italics for general narration - just plain text for everything (although feel free to bold folk's initials at the start of speech). Thanks very much chap, and after that I think I'll be happy to see you go onto the next task.

Agreed on the sharpshooter and the italics. Very old school move set which is both interesting and perhaps in places maybe a little unimaginative but suits the style you've outlined which is always a bonus. I can see him as the italian american mobster with a strict set of rules that only he really plays by so I think he should still be able to get over as a heel of the promo/skit side of things can really back that up.
Actually that would be an awesome backstory if he was the son of a mobster, would make him just a little less generic but it's not crying out for that addition really. If it wasn't played in the stupid F.B.I over the top way I think that would be awesome.

Changed the signature and submission finisher. Here's a video clip of the submission: www.youtube.com/watch?v=g4tOGclN5SwAs for the mobster gimmick.....I respectfully think I'll pass on it. I don't want to character to be some cliche.

fair do's like I said it doesn't have to be cliched. If played with more menace than guido-isms I think it would be generally quite interesting but it's not for everyone of course. Rather like the new finisher, it;s quite flashy which I think actually provides a nice contrast to your other moves. All good for me.

Excellent, glad you know how to be heelish without cheating. Just wanted to be sure you werent padding with no idea on what you were actually putting... As we are, pretty much, an angle fed you understand that even if you are the better RPer in a feud you may still lose if the story depends on it, yeah? Just to avoid any possible hurt feelings or accusations of vias.

again to reiterate there is no judging or scale or ladder. It's bookers decision on who goes over and when. Getting over with your fellow writers is your prime objective should you decide to accept it

You guys underestimate me. I've been fedding for a few years, now, so I know how things work lol. I shall accept the "prime objective"; provided that it doesn't self-destruct in five seconds.

Oh, and now that I do think about it, I joined another angle fed before.....However, I jumped ship when I realized that besides making characters, the runners wouldn't let you do anything with them, they didn't know what they were doing it seems (NONE of them knew what an RP was), and they only pushed their own characters.
However, I do like how in TWOStars, character development and whatnot is still left to their creator's discretion, while still having to abide by angles.

Do like the look of this character indeed and could see him being someone that Gower get's on with well in the locker room.
