I thought I'd write a quick summary about how training works. We've updated the system to try and make the training as close to fed life as possible. Read carefully before you start:
1. Put up your profile. Once it has been checked and any amendments made, you will be told to go to the next task. Don't post the next task until you've been told you can!
2. Write a promo detailing a bit about yourself, your aims and any other important informaion. Use it as a chance to get your personality over. Wait until told to move on.
3.You will be assigned an opponent by one of the staff members. Write a brawl/skit invovling this person. Again when told, move on to the last task.
4. This is the most important task. You will either be assigned a new opponent or carry on with the previous one. Spend time reading other people's matches. See what they did and where they were asked to change. TWOStars requires YOU to write whole matches so your skill is the important thing here, if you write poor matches then you won't progress. Once your match has been deemed suitable you will get the call up to the main roster.
5. JobberJoe (if a male) or Omega (if a woman) will more than likely discuss suitable debuting notes. However, after that, feel free to introduce yourself in this weeks booking thread before posting a promo in the actual show. Make sure and keep an eye out for matches in the booking & creative threads.
---------------------------
GENERAL TIPS
I can't stress enough how it is the fluidity and creativity of your writing that helps you achieve things. If you can be humorous, tell a great story or write a really well worked match then you'll find that you'll progress much better than someone who posts 3 paragraph promos and writes every match they're in like a squash!
Most important: Enjoy it! It's for fun. You won't be able to put down "TWOStars U.S Champ" on a CV! Don't harang people about booking, don't bitch that you aren't a belt holder after 2 weeks. Respect the fact that it takes a lot of hard work to run this fed and therefore only those who show the same kind of hardwork and commitment will get their rewards.
We look forward to sharing ideas, creating angles and building feuds to be remembered for the ages - so come on and join the adventures.
