The scene opens backstage as we show Josh Matthews standing besides a handsome, but somewhat nervous young man.
Josh Matthews: Hello, Ladies and Gentlemen. I'm Josh Matthews and as you can see I'm here with TWO's latest acquisition...Drake Munday. You've been labelled The Dynamite Dynamo by fans across the country, any idea why?
Drake Munday leans into the microphone, glancing at the camera momentarily.
Drake Munday: Well, I guess they must like my style...I like to get a lot of energy into my matches and do a lot of high-flying moves...but I wouldn't say I'm worthy of that kind of nickname.
Josh Matthews nods slightly before asking his next question.
Josh Matthews: Have you got anyone in your sights at all? Anyone you'l particuarly like to face?
Drake Munday glances around nervously, clearly caught off guard by this question.
Drake Munday: Well...um, no. I don't think so. Obviously, everybody wants to wrestle the champion, but that's not going to happen. I'm just happy to be here and I'll be excited to wrestle any of the stars on the roster.
Drake Munday gives a bashful smile to the camera before turning to look at Josh Matthews. It would appear that Munday isn't particuarly comfortable talking. Josh Matthews seems determined to get something interesting out of him however and continues pursuing Drake for answers.
Josh Matthews: What do you think you can bring to TWOStars? What sets you apart from the rest of the roster?
Drake pauses and thinks for a moment before answering.
Drake Munday: Well, I'm not actually sure I should be here..if you get me. I was very surprised that a company of this stature would want me. I called my Mother and told her and even she couldn't hide her astonishment.
Drake Munday seemingly wants to end the conversation and turns to walk away, but Josh Matthews presses him.
Josh Matthews: Surely, there must be something you're good at?Apart from modesty, of course.
Drake turns back to speak into the microphone.
Drake Munday: Uh, well..I don't know if I'm cut out for this level of pro wrestling, but I swear that when I'm out in the ring, I'm gonna give 100%. The fans pay for my salary, they pay for everyone's salary...I think it's totally bogus when guys go out and talk about how they hate the fans. That's not fair, without the fans, there would be no wrestlers. It's our job to go out and give the fans a good time. Whether I'm a favourite or an underdog, I'm always gonna go out there and make sure that it's a good match. The only way I know how to do that is by giving fans exciting, fresh, new moves. But if guys just want to go out there and trash-talk the fans, I'm not going to tolerate that, the fans don't deserve that. I'm gonna teach-
Drake catches himself, glances nervously at the camera he'd been ranting at moments earlier and blushes furiously.
Drake Munday: Oh I- I'm so sorry, I got a bit carried away there...
Drake Munday says this while looking at the ground, and it comes off somewhat muffled.
Josh Matthews: Don't worry about it. We went over this briefly earlier, but what can TWO fans expect from your moveset? Any moves fans will particuarly be interested in watching out for?
Drake smiles slightly, finding a topic he enjoys talking about and looks at the camera with ease.
Drake Munday: Well, I know a few aerial moves, but most of my offense is about being faster than my opponent. I used to team with this veteran called Specter, he was a brilliant...I mean brilliant technician but he was a dirty wrestler as well. I have stolen...sorry...borrowed several of his moves, though fortunately I don't use any of his illegal moves. The Gesture Of Friendship was originally his, it's a fantastic submission move that most of my opponents will find difficult to escape from. I've also got The Darkness, which is a sudden move that I can use on anyone at any time. You won't be expecting that one for sure.
I have all sorts of moves that I've picked up from guys I've met over the years.
With the kind of moves I have, I might be able to maybe...hell, I WILL pose a challenge to anyone who gets in the ring with me.
TWOStars...You've been warned.
Drake Munday begins to leave before, seemingly remembering something.
Drake Munday: Because I am the light and the darkness, I am the love and the hate, I am the ying and the yang, I am the blood and the gore, I am the weak and the poor, the strong and the rich, the old and the sick, I am life, the universe, and everything, I am Drake Munday, and I am going to kick your ass.
With a slightly embarrassed smile, Drake Munday walks out of the camera's view as Josh Matthews looks on slightly surprised.
Josh Matthews: There you have it, ladies and gentlemen...Drake Munday. Make sure to tune in to TWOStars as we eagerly await The Dynamite Dynamo's impending arrival.
